Writing

One of the strengths of my writing is its versatility.  I have experience writing for the web, producing articles for newsletters, and generating promotional materials for both individuals and businesses.  I have also published multiple articles and reviews, created scripts for video productions, and developed and written curriculum for educational programs geared towards high school and university students.  As a PhD. in English, I have an expert demand of English grammar and style and can bring any writing project to fruition.

Editing

Like all good writers, I understand the value of editing.  I have worked with several clients to refine the messages of their writing in a variety of fields including business marketing, academic writing, and web content.  I would be happy to provide my editing services to any written documents that you require.

Speaking

My command of language goes beyond the page (or screen).  I have spent years as an instructor at the university level, and have given formal presentations at over a dozen national and international conferences.  These experiences have honed my communication skills as a public speaker and effective communicator, and I would be happy to put these skills to use for you.

Resumes

Resumes can be extremely complicated and frustrating to write.  They are very difficult to write well.  For this reason, many professional resume writers are able to charge exorbitant prices for their services, and often have flat rates regardless of the current state of your resume.  My resume services work differently.  I offer two different resume services, tailored to your specific needs:

• Resume Consultation - Not everyone needs help generating a resume from scratch.  For those who already have a resume that isn't getting the desired results, I offer a focused resume consultation service.  This includes an initial review of your existing resume, a thorough interview with you to determine what skills you have that your resume isn't fully reflecting, and then a complete revision of your resume that will turn it into a document that gets an employer's attention.  The cost of this service is $100.
• Resume Writing - For those needing a little more help, I offer a complete resume writing service.  This includes a preliminary interview in which I will gather the necessary information to produce a draft of a resume for you.  After you've had a chance to review this draft I will conduct a followup interview to get the crucial details that will help your resume stand out.  I will then incorporate these details into your resume as I produce the final draft.  The cost of this service is $250.
